Today, the red dot design award, the origins of which date back to 1955, is one of the biggest and most renowned design competitions in the world. The red dot is the award for high design quality. Only products that clearly stand out from comparable products due to their outstanding design receive the sought after quality seal from the international jury.

The renowned expert jury had a difficult task this year being presented with a total of 4, 252 entries from approximately 57 countries. In the end, only the very best from the field of the top-class participants were selected.
