Deze week heeft de huidige PWA, Europees en Werelkampioen Formula windsurfen bij de dames, de poolse Dorota Staszewska zich aangesloten bij het succesvolle Gaastra Team.Dorota zal zich natuurlijk ook bezig gaan houden met de product ontwikkeling, wat hoogstwaarschijnlijk interessante producten voor dames op kan gaan leveren.
Dorota: "Formula Windsurfing gained its popularity, but it needs a lot more commitment to make it grow in future. Coming to the Gaastra team I have chance to fill the gap for strong female part to push the sport harder. My windsurfing career would not be possible without my parents and my brother's patience with me, and help of many sponsors. I would like to thank Neil Pryde for our last three years, which enabled me to climb to the top".
