De Neil Pryde Saber heeft zes latten, waarvan vijf latten met een tube-profile voor een lichter gewicht en meer stabiliteit. De Saber is verder opgebouwd in een raamwerk constructie met X-ply verstevigingen op de plaatsen die het zwaar te verduren krijgen tijdens het "close contact racing". Een shape die vanuit het onderlijk voor stabiliteit zorgt zonder gebruik te maken van cambers. De Saber is verkrijgbaar in de maten 4.7, 5.2, 5.7, 6.2, 6.7 en 7.2. Je kunt keizen uit vier verschillende kleurencombinaties, te weten: zilver/grijs, oranje/geel, rood/grijs en geel/geel.
Jimmy Diaz van het Neil Pryde Design Center en top surfer Antoine Albeau over de ontwikkeling van de Saber: "We started with a six batten sail for lightness and stability. We then took the shaping characteristics of the Diablo for speed, and made a tighter leech in the mid section to boost acceleration. The use of the Neil Pryde Flexhead increased the Saber's responsiveness, especially when pumping up onto the plane. It also allowed for a short luff and compact outline which increase control by putting the power point of the sail as close as possible to the rider. A smaller foot and a slightly shorter boom allowed for ease of manoeuvrability. Finally, Neil Pryde's exclusive Frame Concept ensures that the sail withstands the impacts of close contact racing and radical manoeuvres." De Saber is niet alleenontworpen voor de Supercross racers, maar voor iedere windsurfer die op zoek is naar een multidisciplineerd en veelzijdig zeil met een perfecte balans tussen snelheid, controle en manoeuvrability!
